Tips to stay healthy in life

Did you know that there are things you can do everyday to stay healthy in life?  Here are some health tips.

First, drink plenty of water, at least two liters a day is recommended.  Your body is made up of seventy percent water so it is important to drink enough water throughout the day.  You will feel fresh and be ready for the day ahead.

Second, healthy foods are important to incorporate into your diet.  At least one meal a day should consist of vegetables or fruit.  Fruits and vegetables provide lots of vitamins that you need on a daily basis.  

Third, exercise six times a week either by walking, jogging or any other form of cardio.  Studies have shown that people who are physically active are able to decrease their risk of diseases such as cancer, heart disease and even obesity.

Fourth, get enough sleep, at least eight hours a night is recommended.  You should be well rested before starting your day so you can face the challenges that may come ahead.

Fifth, dress for the weather and put on sunscreen when going outside.  If you get sunburn it could cause skin cancer and other health problems later in life.

Sixth, always practice good hygiene such as washing your hands before touching your face or eating and wearing deodorant/antiperspirant everyday.  Keeping yourself clean can help reduce the risk of infections and diseases.

Last, it is very important that you have a good support system of family and friends to rely on.  Having people to turn to in times of need will make life easier for you.

These health tips should be used everyday so you can stay as healthy as possible.  Following these health tips will give you a better chance of living a healthy life.
